What is Botox and How it works

Botulinum toxin often known as ‘Botox’ is a neurotoxic Protein which It is injected using very fine needles, and spreads about a 10mm around the site. The protein gets into the cell and stops the nerve cell sending a chemical message to the muscle or sweat gland. It therefore stops the muscle contracting or the sweat gland sweating. Gradually the cells break down the protein and the effects wear off.

Benefit:

The effects cause a relaxation and a reduction in wrinkles, sweating and muscle contraction. It is very useful in the upper face for frown lines, forehead lines and crows’ feet. It can also be used in bunny lines, gummy smiles, fish mouth, neck muscle contraction (Nefertiti lift), tooth grinding, migraine prevention and sweating of axilla and hands.
