Harmony XL Pro - ipixel Skin Resurfacing / Scar Removal


A highly effective FDA approved fractional laser skin resurfacing treatment, using Er:YAG laser at 2940nm wavelength. iPixel significantly improves overall skin tone, elasticity and texture, increases moisture content, and reduces superficial pigmentation and pore size. It is particularly effective for patients with acne scarring and even active acne. The 7 pixel configuration allows for deeper penetration, yielding enhanced result.

How it works:


Unlike traditional laser resurfacing which removes the entire top layer of the skin, iPixel Er:YAG employs a fractional delivery method which creates pixel-sized perforations in the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This allows the skin to heal faster as the epidermis is regenerated.

Is Harmony XL Pro ipixel painful and is there downtime?

The treatment is normally with no discomfort but slight heat sensation is felt during the treatment. After the treatment skin can feel warm similar to sunburn sensation.

It is estimated for skin to recover within 48 hours and return to work next day post treatment. Some sensitivity may be felt within 7 days after the treatment.

How many treatments are recommended?

For best result normally 3 to 6 treatments are recommended with 4 to 6 weeks intervals.

Can Harmony XL Pro ipixel be combined with other treatments?

Yes, your therapist will run a through consultation at the start of the course and recommend what other treatments can be combined for better result.

Will I be able to eat?

Yes, absolutely! This is not a juice cleanse or fast. You can certainly drink juice if you'd like, but the focus is here is on whole foods. For anyone who knows me, they know I love to eat. During this reset, you will be eating three meals and snacks in between. The recipes will warm up your body this winter, which will fire up your metabolism, energy and focus. There’s no need to suffer and feel deprived and starving! You’ll also gain a much better understanding of how to nourish YOUR unique body and mind. Just imagine a day of chai smoothies, french onion soup, grilled spiced chicken, steamed vegetables, spiced hot cocoa… Basically, you will focus on whole foods such as fruit, vegetables, beans, whole grains and chicken. You’ll learn about various spices and how they will help your digestion, mood, blood sugar and more. Most of the meals will be warm since that is the best for our bodies during the winter months. We’ll be spicing things up! Forget bland and boring…

Can I keep my normal schedule and will I be in the bathroom a lot?

This is one of the most common questions I receive. People are nervous that they’ll be at work and have to keep running to the bathroom. This is not true (unless you have major digestive issues and should consult a health professional). You will be clearing toxins from your body, but this is meant to regulate your digestion rather than cause irregularity. This is NOT a colon cleanse. You will most likely be peeing more often since you will be consuming more water through water, tea and whole foods. I would never have been able to participate in a detox if I wasn’t able to attend work and school. Although there is probably a bit more preparation than you may be used to, you will still be able to keep your normal schedule. This should teach you ways to be prepared with healthy food rather than stopping for fast food or packaged snacks. Think about how much better you’ll feel at work, school and home! You will have more focus, concentration and energy, which should make you more productive and a happier co-worker, student and family member.

What if I can't make the live videos?

The scheduled will be determined before the program begins, but if you can't make it, no worries! The videos will be recorded and posted in the private Facebook group. There’s no need to re-arrange your schedule. However, if you make the live video, you have a chance to ask questions and hear other’s experiences live.

Can I have a friend join me?

Yes, it’s actually a great idea to have a friend participate with you. It’s especially nice because you can each try different recipes and share so you have less preparation yourself. It will be added support and encouragement from someone else who cares about you.

I don't live on Cape Cod, can I still participate?

Of course! I am really excited to have created this as an online program for this exact reason. There are no in-person meetings and nothing to pick up from me. Everything will be e-mailed and there will be a private Facebook group. You can participate from the comfort of your own home or car. I love having participants all over the country and different time zones. It brings so much more to the experience!

I am a teenager or have a teenager who would like to participate. Is it safe?

If you’ve known me for awhile, you know how much I LOVE teenagers and young adult women. I know they have a lot of stress and pressure. My dream is to inspire them to be their best selves and feel good in their bodies and minds. I feel their eating choices truly aggect their mood, energy, focus, sleep and more. I do recommend this program for 18 years old and up, but reach out to me to discuss it in more detail. If you are a parent and are participating, get your child involved with cooking and shopping, but please stay away from telling her she should do it to lose weight. Did you like when someone said that to you as a young woman with a changing body? If you are thinking I would be a perfect fit to work with your teenage (moody, unhappy, anxious, depressed) daughter, contact me. I'm not sure if I can afford this program. What do you think?

A few years ago, I was in college, nutrition school and trying to help run the family business when my dad first got sick. Can I participate while pregnant or nursing?

As a mom, I totally get how important more energy is! Eating whole foods is important during pregnancy and while nursing. It could definitely be helpful to get new recipes and reduce stress levels during those times. I am also going to be sharing tons of tips that help me as a nursing mom, business owner and so on! (Yes, I'm still nursing my 2 year old and will be participating in this program myself.) However, I recommend discussing this with your healthcare provider as I cannot tell you if it is safe or not. If you then decide to sign up while pregnant or nursing, please reach out to me so we can make any necessary modifications such as eating enough calories and making sure you stay hydrated.

I have never done anything like this. Is it okay for beginners?

I'm so glad you're here. I know how intimidating and scary something new can be, especially being naturally anxious. I grew up eating junk food and not understanding my body at all. Everything changed when I did my first detox and also all the coaching I had after the fact. I have worked with many beginners and actually love to because they are the ones who usually see the most positive change! There is so much (virtual) hand-holding through this process. I am there preparing you ahead of time, doing live videos, available by email and in the Facebook group and available after we complete. If you're new to this I have one question for you: How do you feel when you think about signing up? Excited, butterflies, hopeful... Nerves are normal. But don't let the fear hold you back.
